RIVER RUN PARK IMPROVEMENTS

River Run Park is widely used by residents who exercise on its trails. The playground is heavily used and has been renovated. Parking and access were a problem due to the high usage. The existing park building was renovated and expanded to facilitate a meeting hall, the exercise trail was widened, new site lighting was added, and the parking lot was expanded. R.J. Behar prepared all the civil drawings, drainage design, and permitting with the South Broward Drainage District and also prepared master plans for Forzano Park and Lakeshore parks.
R.J. Behar was responsible for project management, master planning, and civil design of the improvements. Duties included estimates of probable cost, the development of specifications, permitting, services during construction, and coordination with the subconsultants for architecture, electrical, mechanical, and landscaping services.
