SEAWALL AT TOBIE WILSON PARK

R.J. Behar provided engineering design services for a seawall design at Tobie Wilson Park. The existing seawall was damaged during a hurricane. The scope of work included the design of approximately 850 feet of new steel bulkhead wall with a concrete cap located on the north side of the park along the south bank of the Miami Canal.
R.J. Behar’s scope included field reviews, structural design, plans preparation, bidding assistance, ROW and ERP permitting with the South Florida Water Management District and the United States Army Corps of Engineers, estimates of probable costs, technical specifications, and construction inspection. R.J. Behar also assisted with the grant preparation.
