B-134 PAINT MIX BUILDING
Client: South Florida Water Management District | Palm Beach County
This project designed a new paint mixing room facility using a pre-engineered metal building system. The scope included the demolition of the existing B-134 building and the addition of a 10' x 40' x 7' high space that housed the paint mix equipment, some chemicals, and paint storage. The proposed paint mix booth has an inside working space of 8' x15' with a second door added for emergency exits, still accommodating two staff members, two tables, containers of solvent, paint mix, and paint cleaning equipment. R.J. Behar performed the structural analysis and plan preparation for the new building addition to the existing maintenance facility and provided inspection and engineering services during construction.
