Since the year 2000, RJ Behar has been designing street neighborhood improvements for the City of Hialeah. This is part of the continuous neighborhood improvement program the City has been conducting. Under this program, RJ Behar has completed more than 50 miles of city street improvements. On NW 102nd Avenue, the existing dirt road was improved with the new roadway construction of two 12-foot travel lanes and a bidirectional 12-foot lane. The right-of-way width varied from 70 to 95 feet. In addition to the road construction, type F curbs and gutters, and swales were constructed along each travel lane.
The scope included roadway plans, signing and pavement marking plans, drainage design, permitting, and estimates of probable construction costs.
