SPANISH RIVER ATHLETIC FACILITY
Client: City of Boca Raton | Palm Beach County
R.J. Behar provided structural engineering services to support the design of the buildings and new signals for a park for the City of Boca Raton. Tasks included:
- Conducting field reviews;
- Data collection;
- Reviewing building ordinances;
- Attending meetings with the city; and
- Conducting design analyses and computations for the structural elements of each structure.
The project included two main restroom-vending buildings, dugouts, entry signs, poles, and foundations of awnings for tot lots and bleachers. The scope also included the design of foundations for new mast arms at the intersection with NW Spanish River Boulevard.
