When designing infrastructure projects, one cannot ignore the environmental impacts of the project. It is also imperative that the project meets or exceeds all the environmental regulations and obtains the approval of the regulatory agencies. Complex environmental regulations sometimes result in the largest challenges a project must overcome. R.J. Behar has developed the expertise to meet these challenges.
Since 2000, we have been a trusted partner of the South Florida Water Management District in meeting the key elements of their mission, including environmental protection and enhancement, water supply, flood protection, and water quality. Our projects have included water quality modeling, flood protection, structure rehabilitation, new control structures, and wetland restoration. These projects are a part of the continued effort to operate and maintain, restore, protect, and preserve the water resource infrastructure of Central and South Florida.
